About Me

This website is maintained and created by Monique NobleEdmonds.  I am a teacher, mother, wife, publisher and webmaster.   The site mainly deals with upper elementary through high school.

This website has undergone major changes once again in that it is now being built with Microsoft FrontPage instead of the Cute Site Builder.  I am by no means an expert and though I try not to make mistakes it seems I always find new ones.  If you find one just let me know and I'll fix it up right away.  My email is nobleednews@nobleednews.com

My First Website

I built my first website for my class.  I worked as a teacher in a Juvenile Detention Facility for five years.  I built the websites to encourage my students to be able to work more independently.  I still have one online at Tripod if you'd like to look click here.   The use of the computer also engaged my ADHD kids who couldn't concentrate on a book but could concentrate on the computer since it gave them something to do with their hands.

For years I watched other teachers treat these children as though it didn't matter if they learned or not.  They put on videos or had the kids working in workbooks completing meaningless assignments.    In stark contrast I energetically tried to get these kids hooked on learning.   In the end I believe I made a difference.  Recently I ran into a former student at my Church and it made my heart sing to see her doing so well.

Basic Website Layout

The website is basically separated into three main sections.  Some pages in the sections are common such as the art gallery, music room, news room, games and a few others.    The main sections are The Student Center, The Teacher Center and The Parent Center.  Under each of these sections you'll find all the pages in that section listed in the Navigation Bar.
