Long ago Jesus and his friends went to a wedding party. It was a very glorious celebration with food and wine for everyone.

Sometime into the celebration the wine ran out.  Jesus mother Mary came to him and told him that something horrible had happened, “The wine ran out”.  She told the servants to do whatever Jesus told them.

The were six very big stone jars nearby. Jesus told the servants to fill the jars with water. They did what Jesus told them.  Next he told them to dip some out and give it to the people.

The servants dipped their ladle into the water but it wasn’t water anymore. The people drank it and said this is the best wine ever. They had no idea it was just plain water minutes ago.  The servants knew though. They knew God had given Jesus special power because he was the son of God.
